NEW Rogers MyAccount App Allows You To Track Usage

For all of you Rogers Wireless users, there's a new app in town. Its simple and polished and gets you the info you want fast. The other option is going to the homepage on your WAP browser which is a little slow and tedious.

With this app you can see your voice usage, track the amount of data you've used and see how many texts you've sent and received. You can also check your account balance and make a payment all from your beloved BlackBerry.

Pretty useful if you're constantly worrying about how close you are to your limits.

Another option I would recommend for your account management is calling customer service for free at *611. I have found the reps very informative and helpful when asking about my plan and they have helped me find the best plans for my usage history.

More Pics of the BlackBerry Slider 9700A Emerge!

More goods on the newest rumored BB out there. Looks quite similar to the 8900. By the looks of these other pics (http://crackberry.com/more-blackberry-slider-9700a-pics-show-online) its just a little thicker than the Javelin 8900. Still many questions remain unanswered. Is it a touchscreen? Is the camera 5MP or the standard 3.2? How much will it be and which carrier will get it first?

Check out the other pics on crackberry.com and stay tuned for more updates.

Free TellMeTheTime! App Adds Current Time to Menu

Here's a super simple app that many will find useful. Its called TellMeTheTime! and it adds the time to the top of (or close to) each menu. Makes it really easy to check the time when you don't want to leave what you're doing.

I know, I know, you can easily check the time by hitting the End button, then going back to what you were doing. This is much faster though. Most people use their phones as clocks now as wristwatches are becoming less and less common. Love it or hate it?

Get it OTA here: TellMeTheTime!

BlackBerry Slider?

Very interesting. From what I've read, this super slider berry features a touchscreen (exactly like the Storm 2), trackpad and of course vertical slider. Pretty crazy. Not sure if I love it yet, but if the specs are tight, it could be amazing. Sounds like it'll be released this summer sometime...so September.

IM+ Lite Messenger Launched By Shape Services: Free Facebook chat, Google Talk, Skype and More!

Thanks to BlackBerry Cool, I found this new free version of IM+ Lite Messenger by Shape Services. Before this, I was using Nimbuzz (more info here). It worked ok, but the notifications had to be reset everytime the app was restarted. Annoying.

IM+ Lite has more features and integrates very well into the BB Operating System. It supports file transfers and group chats for MSN and Skype. Personally, I only use it for Google Talk and Facebook chat, but it also supports Yahoo, Jabber, ICQ, Skype, MySpace and Twitter.
